Kingdom Of Amaluar – re-released and new expansion

THQ Nordic has announced Kingdom of Amaluar will be re-released. This re-release has been named Re-Reckoning and will provide updates to the game.

While this re-release does not seem to be a drastic change from the original, it will update the overall quality of the game. The game was not a bad game, but it was not great either. It had problems with pacing which caused the game to be grindy. There was some difficulty with the content which made the game to easy. On top of that it also released around the time Skyrim released. Ultimately it was the first and last game produced by Studio 38.

If you do not remember this was from 38 studios and Big Huge Games and published by EA. Shortly after the release, 38 studios went bankrupt. This game was supposed to be a setup for the MMO that was being made by this studio, but never made it to the light of day. Back in 2018 the rights to Kingdom of Amaluar was purchased by THQ Nordic.

THQ Nordic has decided to re-release the game with updates, and they are going to release an expansion. The expansion named Fatesworn is set to be released after the re-release in 2021. It will be interesting to see how this plays out as the original game’s graphics are a bit dated being from 2012. Hopefully, they will find success with this.

Halo 3 arrives

Halo has been releasing their games to PC since later 2019 with Halo Reach, Halo, and Halo 2 released so far. The remaining are set to release during the remainder of 2020 with Halo 3, ODST and Halo 4 left.

On July 14th Halo 3 arrives on PC. The trilogy closer is finally here allowing PC players to experience it for the first time on PC. With that in mind we expect Halo Infinite to provide more details later this month on the Microsoft show with a release date. With Microsoft’s push into PC gaming we would expect for the game to release at the same time.
